39th LPSC Meeting

Several faculty and students are attending the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston, TX during spring break March 10-14, 2008.


Professors Ralph Harvey, Steven Hauck, and Jim Van Orman and graduate students Andreas Ritzer and Dejun Tan are attending the 39th annual Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston, TX to present new scientific work and meet with colleagues. They are presenting and co-authoring papers over a wide range of topics from the earliest history of chondrite meteorites, analyses of micrometeorites and Apollo lunar samples, terrestrial analogs for Martian environments, to new results from the MESSENGER mission to Mercury. Graduate student Andreas Ritzer will be presenting his work on using non-spherical harmonic geophysical models for the Earth’s moon.
