Congratulations to Andrew Opsitnick and Josh Angelini, who recently won awards for their poster presentations in Research Showcase and SOURCE.

Geology undergrad major Andrew Opsitnick won 1st prize in the Natural Sciences Poster Competition at SOURCE, for “Accumulations of Oil and Natural Gas in Clinton Sandstone near CWRU’s Squire Valleevue Farm.”
Graduate student Josh Angelini won honorable mention in Research Showcase for his poster “Geochemical Correlation of Volcanic Ash Deposits in the Woranso-Mille Paleontological Study Area in the Afar Region of Ethiopia”
