The Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Case Western Reserve University seeks a candidate for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor position for the academic year starting August 20, 2019. We seek a candidate with a broad background in the geosciences who will contribute to teaching and research in the department. The position will address departmental teaching needs including introductory courses in oceanography and global environmental problems, and an upper level course, preferably on aqueous or low-temperature geochemistry. The expected course load for the position is three courses per year. The position requires completion of the PhD degree by August 1, 2019, and a record of research and teaching commensurate with rank.
