Audrey Martin joined the Department as a Research Associate in June. Dr. Martin earned a Ph.D. in Petrology from Blaise Pascal University and was previously a postdoctoral scholar at the NASA Johnson Space Center. She specializes in high-pressure, high-temperature experiments, and is working with Steve Hauck and Jim Van Orman on a project to explore the influence of multiple “light” elements on crystallization behavior, dynamics, and magnetic field generation in planetary cores.
